Eight Charts on TradingView Desktop

I get a lot of emails asking about how to layout charts for the best trading experience. I can't say mine is the best or that it will work for you, but here is how I do it.

The main takeaway from this is that you should create a multiple chart layout that works for YOU.

Some pointers for you:

  • Does this layout help to avoid continuously opening and closing different charts?
  • Do you feel more in control of a particular chart layout?
  • Are you more able to focus on the actual task of trading instead of deciding which timeframe to examine?

If you can answer yes to any or all of the above, then likely you are on the right track to finding your best trading chart layout.

Keep in mind that this is a somewhat evolving process. What works for you now might benefit from a review if, for example, your trading times have changed.

Don't cast your TradingView charts layout in stone.

Remain flexible and adjust accordingly.
