This category is for the online trading course participants to ask questions and request specific instruction videos. I cant promise a video for every request but if we get a couple of course members asking the same things then I will go all out on a video for you that will then become part of the online course.

Martin,
It would be nice to see you set the price lines, trade finder lines and volume lines in the software from scratch i.e. as though you have just installed it. This gives people who are new to the software an indication of whether or not we are finding the right congestion areas and volumes, etc. It would also reinforce this point to seasoned traders of PAT software.

But this would soon become obsolete as time moved on, actually I set the lines every morning as part of the learning how to trade videos in the morning market talk. I think this is more useful as this is the front end where we make money.
Maybe I have missed your point though?

Hi Martin,
I think I may have over-complicated this a little. I think it’s a case of just wanting to know where your historic (as opposed to your new ones) price lines come from but I suppose it is easy enough to work out. As a beginner it’s just nice to know that we are identifying the right areas.

No Problem, you are learning to trade and this is important stuff for you, I 100% understand that, NEVER feel like you cant ask a questions. You will learn to trade like this and I can best help in this way.
After you have watched say 10 morning videos you will see how I use the lines over time anyway. In the morning (if I remember) I will mention some historics on the video.
I closed off my long position (Long at 1.9611) this afternoon at 1.9733. Notice how the market had done 90 from the low of today (Well 89pips to be precise as my son pointed out) :-)) and there was some historic HVol at 1.9742 Check out that level and see how the market reacted there AND see the date from where that volume came from.
I had just got in from my trip to Gibraltar as was exhausted from the heat, so I closed and went for a nap. James my son sold at that level and added positions on the way down, so he is sitting pretty at the moment. OK I missed that one, but you cant get them all. This is the real world of trading and this is the only way to learn to trade. (in my opinion of course) :-))
