This is what I need. Over the last few years I have been learning slowly, sometimes painfully, and going from boom to bust. I began to get glimmers of insight of manipulation, but without tools to take advantage, obviously because the required fundamental know-how is not there.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you so much for your help, support and guidance recently. I think without your nudging me in the directions you have I would have called it a day. Are you aware of the dramatic effect your methodologies have had on my trading? Whilst I certainly would not claim to be a "good" trader yet, simply implementing your strategies and common sense is enabling me to put some discipline into my trading (possibly for the first time in years). Since 7th April to today (20th April) I have taken out 541 points in various currency pairs and a little index trading. I should also mention that it would have been a couple of hundred more had I not taken a couple of trades outside strategy. You're a bloody genius mate!!

Hi Martin,
It has taken me a little more than a month to get on the positive side of understanding Pat. Yesterday I took 204 pips in one day while I was asleep! Today 140 pips in the mist of a busy work day were I had to set up my trades and trust PAT!
The best advice I could give anyone who is struggling is to keep going over the lessons. For me I was missing the intent of the trend and could not bring myself to change my position or would change too late. It was only when I went back and reviewed the lesson on congestion. This helps me see were the market was going. Well you can see that I'm on the right side of the majority of my trades, the record speaks for itself.

The intent video was the icing on the cake.
I had been struggling to work out why I could pick the direction using PAT but failed to act on it until too late or worse, would chase what I thought were the right signals (self doubt I'm guessing).

Your latest video has caused me to relax, sit back and listen to the market in a much more harmonious way. The planning process all of a sudden seemed to make sense. I could accept missing the "opportunity" and know that PAT was right there telling me what to do next! Pip wise, I'm up about 100 since watching the video - but the best part is seeing opportunities in a new light.

Thanks for producing the videos and the lessons. I feel more empowered now than ever before and can actually see not only how to make trading successful, but understand a bit more of the marketplace philosophy. I'm not trying to beat the market anymore, just learn and adjust for more wins.

I have been enjoying my roller coaster novice trading immensely and am averaging about 100 pips a week..then I got to thinking how much the spread betting company is also making out of me it's obscene even at 3pips on GBP/USD!) and thought there must be a cheaper way - am sure you covered this on the course concerning brokerage, but haven't written up many notes about this. Can you suggest some pointers? or perhaps a reputable company I can use as a yard stick so that I know what I'm looking for in terms of comparison?

I have attended a number of courses on trading over the years, some costing 2k to 3k for a single day. I can honestly say none have been so worth while as the July 07 Learning to Trade course. Most courses tell you a) what could have been done historically, using a set of techniques or b) How I made 1 million using a particular system. Instead of a process, uniquely, Martin, you gave us two things: 1) an understanding of what is really happening in the market place - how the beliefs of the participants can be read and acted upon by PAT users, and 2) equally important if not more, to understand our own belief system and be a successful trader.

Hi Martin.
The power of the floating zone . . . I can't believe I have not been trading with this . . . . After completing two trades this afternoon I came back to the forum to check if there were any screen shots and was glad to see that I had the same trade as you after the high volume at the top of the zone. (nice 20 pips pickup!) As it was such a rapid drop back to congestion, I figured I'd hang around for the retrace, spotted the 15:50 triangle and picked up another quick 24 pips.

I'd got into the habit of expecting big moves (90 pips), but my mind set has changed now to harvesting the 15 - 20 pips that keep presenting themselves now that I'm using the Pvol as my main entry/exit tool. Yesterday's trade was nearly missed as I didn't get to look at PAT until 10am, so I set up a sell at the bottom of the 08:00 triangle and also placed the 90 tool, so set my exit at 9742. . . that was filled at 10:50 and resulted in another 24 pips.
I think I'm starting to really get the feeling for what we are doing here.My forecast for a trading life is based on 50 pips a week, since using the PVol as the entry tool; I've been averaging 115 pips for the last 3 weeks. Truly phenomenal stuff. .
