I receive about 10 emails a week asking me if PAT is an automated forex trading tool.
Yesterday I received such a mail, I was just about to reply when I recognised the unusual email address. Something just went 'ping' in my mind and I had to check it out.
Before you read the rest of this story take a peek at this trading video on how to read the market.
I did a quick search of all my old emails, and yes sure enough there was a mail asking me pretty much the same thing.
I checked the date and it was 2006 !
This same guy had mailed me more that 2 years ago asking me the same question that he did then. I just had to find out more.
I replied “Thanks for mailing me, I have already replied to you. Did you not get the mail?”
He shot a mail back saying no.
Tongue in cheek I replied “maybe you missed it as I sent it in February 2007”
To cut a long story short it turned out that he was STILL searching for an automatic forex trading system YEARS on!
He had spent a LOT and I mean a LOT of money on systems. He had LOST even MORE money trading these 'systems'
I tried reason, I tried logic but to no avail, he simply was not interested in learning to read the market for himself. I explained to him that the day he learned how to read the market he would have the finest automatic trading system in the world.
He would have the ability to trade successfully, and in the time he has already wasted looking for the trading 'system' of his dreams he would be well on his way to financial freedom.
His final mail said “I hear what you are saying, but there are a couple more trading systems I want to try out before I commit to learning how to trade forex.
You can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink comes to mind. But then I dont think the answer is to force anyone to do anything.
That said it would be nice to see him take the online forex course, learn how to trade and achieve his desired financial freedom.
Well let's hope I don't get that same mail from the same person in another 2 years.
